My name is Robert.  I’m a husband and dad to three beautiful children.  I’m a coach and former college athlete.  I’m also a diabetic.

Why am I writing this blog? You may have noticed when I introduced myself that I’m not a doctor or certified nutritionist.  I’m just a dad that wants to get the word out about diabetes to as many people as possible.  For the majority of my life I’ve been physically fit with no health issues.  I have multiple gym memberships and I try to workout at least 3 to 4 days a week.  At the age of 38 I was diagnosed as Pre-Diabetic.  I have participated in many diets that were only temporary.  I have participated in many fitness programs that did not work.  The goal of this blog is to let people know what foods, workouts and habits have worked for me and also find out what is working for other diabetics.
